About the Role

SSS are expanding their footprint in Auckland and have created a new Account Director role to lead this growth. This is a unique opportunity to get in early and help shape the Auckland presence, building out the team and driving commercial success.

Initially a sole-charge role, you'll need to be hands-on while also thinking strategically, with a strong track record in cybersecurity managed services sales and securing new logos, with hiring of a team to report into you to follow. This role is focused on commercial enterprise clients, so a deep understanding of enterprise sales is essential.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Establish and grow SSS's presence in the Auckland commercial enterprise market
  • Drive new business acquisition and build long-term client relationships
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for cybersecurity managed services
  • Lead sales conversations and secure new logos across enterprise clients
  • Collaborate with internal teams to shape future capability and delivery in Auckland
  • Manage end-to-end sales processes, including proposals, contracts, and reporting

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven success in cybersecurity managed services sales to commercial enterprise clients
  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy and new business development
  • Experience in a sales leadership or sales management role
  • Ability to operate independently while building a regional presence
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across senior stakeholders
