About the role

Our client is seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to join their team in Mount Maunganui. As a Dispatch Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of their products to customers. This full-time position is integral to the smooth operation of their manufacturing and logistics functions.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinate the dispatch and delivery of products to customers, managing the workflow and liaising with internal teams and external logistics providers
  • Monitor inventory levels and production schedules to plan and prioritise dispatch activities
  • Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to dispatch and delivery
  • Continuously seek ways to improve dispatch processes and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Provide support and guidance to the wider logistics team as needed

  • Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics coordination role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders
  • Proficient in using relevant software and systems for tracking, reporting and documentation
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
