Role Overview:

We are seeking a
Snowflake Architect
to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in
Snowflake Data Cloud
,
data modeling
,
ETL/ELT architecture
, and
modern data platform design
across multi-cloud environments such as
AWS, Azure, or GCP
. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to define best practices for data integration, governance, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, architect, and implement
    end-to-end data solutions
    leveraging
    Snowflake
    as the core data platform.
  • Develop scalable
    data pipelines
    and
    ETL/ELT workflows
    using tools like
    DBT, Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory
    .
  • Design and optimize
    data models
    ,
    schemas
    , and
    warehouse architecture
    for analytics, BI, and machine learning use cases.
  • Define and enforce
    data governance
    ,
    security
    , and
    access control policies
    in Snowflake.
  • Implement
    performance tuning
    ,
    query optimization
    , and
    cost management
    strategies for Snowflake environments.
  • Integrate Snowflake with
    cloud data ecosystems
    (e.g., Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Databricks, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define
    data strategies
    ,
    KPIs
    , and
    data quality frameworks
    .
  • Provide technical leadership and mentor engineering teams on
    Snowflake best practices
    and
    modern data architecture patterns
    .

Key Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years
    of experience in Data Engineering, BI, or Data Architecture roles.
  • 3+ years
    of hands-on experience with
    Snowflake
    including database design, security, and performance tuning.
  • Strong expertise in
    SQL
    and
    data modeling
    (star, snowflake, data vault, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with
    DBT
    ,
    Python
    , or
    Scala
    for data transformations.
  • Deep understanding of
    cloud platforms
    (AWS / Azure / GCP) and
    data integration services
    .
  • Experience implementing
    CI/CD pipelines
    ,
    data automation
    , and
    infrastructure as code (IaC)
    for data environments.
  • Familiarity with
    data governance
    ,
    cataloging
    , and
    privacy/compliance standards
    (e.g., GDPR).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
