Overview

We are seeking an experienced
Snowflake Data Engineer
with strong hands-on expertise in
DBT
, data modeling, and ELT pipeline development. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of SQL, data warehousing best practices, and a good understanding of telecom business processes and data domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize scalable ELT pipelines
    using DBT, ensuring efficiency, modularity, and maintainability.
  • Develop robust data models
    following best practices in modularity, documentation, and testing.
  • Collaborate with domain experts and business stakeholders
    to translate functional requirements into high-quality data transformations.
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and consistency
    across various data sources and datasets.
  • Manage and optimize Snowflake environments
    , including schema design, performance tuning, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement role-based access control (RBAC)
    and maintain secure data environments within Snowflake.
  • Monitor data pipelines
    and troubleshoot performance issues across ELT processes and Snowflake workloads.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams
    including Data Architects, Analysts, and Product Owners to support data-driven initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with DBT
    , including building models, tests, macros, and documentation.
  • Proven expertise with Snowflake
    , including schema design, optimization, RBAC, warehouses, and resource management.
  • Solid understanding of SQL
    and data warehousing concepts, including star/snowflake schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Good understanding of telecom business models, systems, and data types
    (preferred).
  • Familiarity with ELT tools
    and orchestration platforms.
  • Experience working with
    cloud platforms
    such as AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Exposure to
    BI tools
    such as Power BI for consuming and validating transformed datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive
    , with the ability to work independently and in team environments.
