We now have an exciting opportunity to join our Team as a Broker Support (or in Howden speak as an Associate)

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Broker Support to join our team. In this position, you'll work closely with one Broker to manage a dedicated portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will include supporting the placement and administration of insurance policies across a range of general insurance products, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance at every step.

You'll play a key role in ensuring outstanding service by:

  • Preparing new business quotes for domestic and SME commercial clients.
  • Managing renewals for domestic and SME commercial policies and assisting with larger commercial accounts.
  • Providing day-to-day servicing of existing clients.
  • Assisting with claims lodgement and management during high-volume periods.

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Competency with MS Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly – eGlobal experience is advantageous.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Previous experience in a Fire & General Broker Support role.
  • A Level 5 v2 Certificate in Financial Services
