Whangarei Physio and Hand Therapy aims to improve our client's physical function, health and quality of life by providing top quality Physiotherapy, Hand Therapy and gym-based rehabilitation in Whangarei.

The role:

This is a full-time position. The role involves working as a receptionist at both our Kamo Clinic and Kensington Clinic locations and shifts can include hours with the Kamo clinic opening early from 7am some days and closing late at 7pm some days. The position is ongoing with a start date of the 5th of January 2026.

The key tasks include:

  • Providing a friendly, efficient, and welcoming environment for clients.
  • Appointment booking, requiring accurate and timely data entry for clinic registration as well as billing for services and taking payments.
  • Good communication with office manager, reception team and clinical staff along with support for day to day running of the clinic.

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Providing information to potential clients about our service.
  • Taking appointment bookings and entering into Gensolve computer program.
  • Accessing information from ACC and other providers.
  • Greeting and registering clients, taking payments, billing and on booking.
  • Ensuring clinics are kept tidy and run efficiently.

About you:

You will be a team player and have positive attitude and good communication skills. You will be reliable and trustworthy and work well in a team environment. Some computer skills are essential with experience in customer service and/or reception work being ideal.
