MANA AKE - KAIMAHI

Do you have a passion to see tamariki thrive? Are you passionate about their well-being?

Arataki Ministries are looking for a kaimahi to partner with school's, tamariki, and whānau to provide wholistic well-being support across the Whangarei and Northland region. There is a full-time (40hrs) per week roles. Therefore, availability will be required during school holidays also.

The role involves:

  • The delivery of whole of classroom/school mental well-being programmes
  • Developing and sharing of resources for teachers
  • Ensuring whānau involvement and participation
  • Group and individual support to tamariki experiencing social, emotional or behavioral challenges
  • Collaboration across health, education, and social sector partners

Successful Applicants will:

  • Have experience working with tamariki
  • Mental health and well-being Level 4 or Equivelant
  • Good understanding of Te Ao Māori
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A FULL clean driver's license
  • A clear police record
  • Experience working in a school/education environment
