What we're looking for

We're seeking a strategic, experienced Marketing Cloud Consultant with a proven track record in designing and delivering data-driven, personalised engagement across digital channels.

With recent large project wins with industry-leading brands in the automotive, travel, and nonprofit sectors, this is an exciting time to join LavaBox.

What you'll do

As a well-rounded consultant, you'll work with clients end-to-end - across strategy, planning, execution, and mentoring. In this role, you will:

  • Facilitate discovery and design workshops to align client objectives with Marketing Cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and Salesforce consultants to align Marketing Cloud with Salesforce Core, Industries, and Data Cloud solutions.
  • Design data models, segmentation, and journey orchestration that enable timely, relevant, personalised communications.
  • Implement and optimise cross-channel campaigns, analyse performance, and iterate for outcomes.
  • Coach client marketing teams to lift their Marketing Cloud capability.
  • Maintain best-practice compliance (consent, preference management, deliverability).
What success looks like (client outcomes)
  • Measurable uplift against Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) focused on CX, conversion, revenue, and engagement.
  • Clear, value-tracked releases aligned to client marketing strategies.
  • Scalable solutions with robust data foundations that enable future use cases.
Experience and certifications you'll need

Essential

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant certification.
  • 3+ years' experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement.
  • Strong data design skills; comfortable with SQL and APIs/integrations.
  • Consulting fundamentals: structured discovery, prioritisation, stakeholder facilitation, and crisp written/verbal communication.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia or New Zealand.

Helpful (but not essential)

  • Experience with Marketing Cloud Next, Personalisation, Account Engagement (Pardot), and/or Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) .
  • Exposure to Salesforce Data Cloud and Agentforce (unification, calculated insights, activations).
  • Industry experience in nonprofit, automotive, travel, or financial services.
  • Additional certifications: Marketing Cloud Administrator/Developer, Data Cloud Consultant, or relevant martech platforms.
