Fulcrum Decision is looking for a Graduate Data Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced data professionals on real-world client projects—helping to design, build, and support innovative data solutions across Australasia.

We've been delivering Data Platform, Data Warehouse, BI, and Analytics solutions for over 20 years. Our clients include major enterprises across sectors such as utilities, manufacturing, and insurance. You'll be part of a highly regarded consulting team known for its technical excellence, pragmatic approach, and collaborative culture.

What you'll be doing

Your initial focus will be on supporting our clients and smaller projects — helping to maintain and enhance their data platforms and solutions. You'll gain valuable experience troubleshooting, analysing issues, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality outcomes.

As you grow in confidence and capability, you'll have opportunities to move into larger project work and develop deeper expertise in areas such as data engineering, data consulting, or ETL development.

What we're looking for

We're after someone who is:

•    Flexible, responsive, and eager to learn
   
•    A team player with a positive attitude and professional approach

You'll stand out if you have:
   
•    Exposure to SQL or database concepts
   
•    An understanding of data modelling, reporting, or cloud data platforms
   
•    Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related fields)

Our consultants work with a wide range of tools and platforms including:
Snowflake, Databricks, Fabric, SQL Server, dbt, Power BI, Azure, AWS, and GCP.
You'll receive mentoring, structured learning, and support to build your skills and certifications in these technologies.
