Office Administrator – Join Our Team
Sweetman Law, a well-established law firm on Auckland's North Shore, is seeking an Office Administrator to assist our Office Manager and keep our operations running smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an organised, professional environment and enjoys being the go-to person for both clients and the team. You'll play a key part in maintaining our modern office while supporting the Office Manager and legal professionals in a collaborative and friendly setting.
What You'll Do
- Welcome clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Manage reception duties, phone calls, and meeting room presentation.
- Transcribe digital dictations into accurate, well-formatted legal documents and correspondence.
- Oversee office supplies and maintain a tidy, well-stocked environment.
- Handle file management, including opening new client files and archiving.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, and general administrative tasks.
- Support the legal team with document preparation and scheduling.
What We're Looking For
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- 3+ years' experience working in a fast-paced office environment preferred.
- A university degree would be beneficial.
- Proven experience in a legal setting would be an advantage.
