About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will assist solicitors in document preparation, client communication, file management, and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and format legal documents, letters, and contracts.
- Assist solicitors with client file management and case preparation.
- Communicate with clients, government departments, and other professionals.
- Translate and draft correspondence in both English and Chinese.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Perform general administrative and support tasks as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in Law, Business, or a related field).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in providing services to the migrant community.
- Strong writing skills.
- Bilingual ability (English and Chinese) is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general office software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
