The Company

Well-established New Zealand FMCG business, who are part of a larger well-respected national group with a long history and strong growth across multiple sectors. The Role

This role will be a blend of both payables and receivables where you will work in a supportive finance team. You can expect a mix of structure and flexibility - some BAU, some project work, and plenty of opportunities to make a visible impact.

Your duties will include:

  • Accounts Payable:
  • Medium volume invoice processing, and importing CSV invoices
  • Coding, approvals and PO matching
  • Preparing weekly expenses and monthly payment runs (20th/30th)
  • Supplier reconciliations, recovery reporting and resolving queries
  • Supporting AP process automation

Accounts Receivable:

  • Multiple bank reconciliations,
  • High volume allocations and applying payments
  • Working through rebate-heavy customers
  • Data manipulation and allocation in Excel
  • Ad-hoc duties as requested

Your Profile

We are looking for a genuinely friendly and experienced Accounts Assistant who is comfortable taking ownership of both functions and juggling their workload.

What you will bring:

  • 3+ years working in full function Accounts Payables and Receivables functions
  • Strong excel skills and experience with large ERP's, NetSuite is highly desirable
  • Comfortable communicating with internal teams while remaining calm and solutions-focused
  • Ability to problem-solve and an eye for cleaning-up processes
