We have an exciting opportunity to join our Finance team at Healthvision
We're looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented and committed **Finance Assistant** to support our dynamic and friendly Finance team at our Head Office in Greenlane, Auckland.
This is a **permanent, full-time role** (40 hours), ideal for someone with foundational finance experience who is eager to grow and contribute to a supportive environment.
**About the Role**:
As a Finance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business. You’ll be responsible for a range of tasks, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, bank reconciliations and other ad hoc finance duties.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in an evolving environment, collaborating across teams, engaging with our external funders, but also can work autonomously and deliver to required deadlines.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Managing regular billing for ACC, MOH, DHB and private clients
- Managing debtor collectability
- Providing analysis of overdue amount and conducting timely financial investigations of aging debtors.
- Assisting with entering supplier invoices, processing payments, and reconciling outstanding items
- Maintaining accurate supplier information in the finance system
- Performing bank and credit card reconciliations
**To be successful in this role**, you would ideally have**:
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance (e.g., Bachelor of Accounting)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or accounts payable and billing.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, IF functions)
- Ability to work with data from multiple systems
- Experience with Exonet - MYOB is an advantage
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have the legal right to work permanently in New Zealand
