About the Role

This Assistant Accountant role supports a dynamic finance team, contributing to financial reporting and operational accuracy across a portfolio of high-end property assets. It offers exposure to multiple facets of the business including development, retirement, and operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in accounts payable and receivable processing, invoicing, and payment runs
  • Support month-end procedures including journals, reporting, and compliance
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and preparation of financial statements
  • Liaise with auditors and support year-end reporting and tax processes
  • Maintain accurate financial records, including asset registers and project documentation.

So who are you and what is your profile?

You will be a confident communicator with a strong work ethic and a sharp eye for detail. You're likely working toward or recently completed a relevant accounting qualification and have some hands-on experience in transactional finance or junior accounting. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take initiative, and can manage multiple deadlines. You bring a positive, can-do attitude and understand the importance of clear communication and team collaboration. Experience in property or related industries is advantageous.
