About the Role

The Energy Solutions Senior Project Specialist leads the end-to-end delivery of Energy Solutions initiatives across a diverse project portfolio. You will support the development and commercialisation of new opportunities while ensuring projects are executed to the highest standard. Acting as a key liaison for internal and external partners, you will play a critical role in progressing Ampol's energy transition agenda. This role suits a proactive project professional who thrives in dynamic and evolving environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver Energy Solutions initiatives from concept through to commercialisation.
  • Provide innovative and robust solutions across a variety of project opportunities.
  • Act as Ampol's key liaison point in jointly owned or partnered ventures.
  • Project manage Energy Solutions projects through the full lifecycle to operation.
  • Develop detailed project plans, ensuring effective resource, budget and funding planning.

About You

You are an experienced project delivery specialist with a passion for energy innovation and commercial outcomes. You excel at navigating complex, cross-functional environments and driving clarity through strong communication and planning. With a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach, you confidently influence stakeholders and guide projects to successful execution.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects in complex or cross-functional environments.
  • Solid understanding of the full project management lifecycle.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to engage cross functionally with tech, data, and digital teams
  • Proven capability in budgeting, cash flow management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification and formal project management certification.
