**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
Te Whatu Ora operates one of the largest and most complex Data & Digital ecosystems in Australasia. The business is also embarking on a significant and comprehensive digital transformation programme culminating in the big shifts and scale to realise Pae Ora.
This requires a full integrated risk-based approach to managing IT project risk to ensure that decision making, and design and delivery activities appropriately balance up the near-term objectives (including system stability, tactical improvements) and longer-term objectives (including digital transformation).

This role has a wide scope, supporting our Data & Digital leadership team in ensuring that our project risk management aligns with the size and scale of our business. Collaboration will be key, as you work closely with project managers, business stakeholders, and IT teams. Together, you'll spot risks early, analyse and prioritise them, and put in place the right controls and strategies to mitigate them.
As part of our Data & Digital Risk team, your expertise will ensure that we identify and document potential project and program risks and vulnerabilities, giving them the right priority and creating action plans to handle them effectively. Your involvement with key groups, including Clinical and Business Teams, and IT stakeholders will help define risk tolerances and acceptance criteria for all our projects and changes.
