Our client, a highly respected leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Finance Manager to lead the finance function and support continued operational excellence. This is a pivotal role where you will partner closely with production, supply chain, and senior leadership to provide accurate costing, margin and variance analysis, and forward-looking financial insights that drive performance improvement and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and mentor the finance team, ensuring continuous learning and performance improvement
  • Own and manage the end-to-end finance function, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the business
  • Drive cost analysis and cost allocation processes to identify opportunities for improved operational efficiency and margin enhancement
  • Partner with the Executive Team to shape long-term financial strategy and deliver on business objectives
  • Oversee cash flow, capital management, and investment planning
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and financial reporting standards
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, processes, and controls

Does this sound like you?

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong costing knowledge, with experience in product costing, variance analysis, and margin improvement
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing (highly advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships across operations and leadership teams
  • A proactive, commercially minded finance leader who enjoys being close to the business
