The Opportunity - Te tūranga:

As Head of Financial Reporting & Control you will lead the financial and management accounting function, providing technical and accounting support and driving process improvements and efficiencies.

Your focus will be on

  • Management of the statutory reporting, audit and month end close process.
  • Management of direct taxation and cashflow across the business
  • Supporting the GM Financial Operations and CFO with technical accounting advice and guidance and project work as required.
  • Ownership of the Balance sheet and integrity of the general ledger.

What We're Looking For - Tā mātou e kimi nei:

To be successful, you will need to have the following

  • 5yrs+ PQE in financial accounting, preferably in large and complex organisations
  • Experience as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller
  • Degree qualified, Charted Accountant (or international equivalent)
  • Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work through and understand complex process flows.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to create high performing teams.
  • Excellent technical accounting skills including a working knowledge of IFRS and its business application.
  • Strong communication skills, both with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated competence in continuous improvement.
