The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced
Group Financial Controller
to join our Finance team, based in our
Commercial Bay office in Auckland
. Reporting to the CFO, this pivotal role will take full ownership of the Group's financial control function across a multi-entity, multi-country environment.

You'll be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis, ensuring robust financial controls and risk management, and maintaining financial and tax compliance for the Group. You'll also lead and develop the Group Finance team, driving high-quality outcomes and a culture of continuous improvement.

This is a key leadership position supporting our journey to build a leading global Super Premium wine company.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the Group Financial Control team.
  • Deliver accurate financial reporting, analysis, and insights, ensuring sound financial control, risk management, and compliance across the Group.
  • Provide meaningful financial analysis, advice, and support to the CFO, Senior Leadership Team, and divisional managers.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes and standard operating procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • At least 5 years' experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a listed company.
  • CA qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading financial close processes in a multi-entity, multi-country environment, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with NZ IFRS.
  • Strong leadership experience, with the ability to build and maintain a positive, high-performing team culture.
