Purpose:

This role delivers assistance to the logistics department to efficiently dispatch orders, receipt in stock, keep track of inventory and deliver smooth operation.

Responsible for:

Working with the wider logistics team to efficiently complete day to day tasks, communicate with other divisions and be responsible for overall upkeep and tidiness of the storage environment

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support in the coordination of daily logistic operations which includes receiving, storing, picking, packing and order dispatch.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment within the team
  • Liaise with internal teams such as customer service and procurement/sales to align inventory and delivery priorities.
  • Schedule and coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries with approved and authorised transport providers.
  • Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time and alert customer services and/or sales immediately of any inventory discrepancies.
  • Identify and report process inefficiencies, damaged goods, discrepancies, and hazards for corrective action.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery.
  • Inventory Control - Assist with rolling stock takes as directed and when an overall stocktake is required.
  • Provide administration support as directed.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

  • Recent graduate with a qualification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.
  • Strong learning agility with the ability to pick up inventory systems and software quickly and efficiently.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to relate to internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to lift products up to 15 kilos within the health and safety guidelines.
  • You must be residing in New Zealand with NZ Residency as sponsorship is not available.
  • This position is full time and based on site Monday to Friday.
