Storeperson

This full-time role reports to the Supply Chain Manager in the Enterprise team.

Supply Chain and having the right stock available at the right time in the right quantities to support both our customer and production requirements is critical to our business success. It covers Inventory Management, Logistics and Purchasing.

Once stock arrives it must be receipted, processed, issued and managed.

The Stores Person is based on site in our Warehouse. You'll work with the Stores and Enterprise and wider HV Power teams. Your core responsibilities are:

· Maintaining accurate inventory records

· Manage Warehouse inventory - work with the Supply Chain and Purchasing Administrator to forecast parts order requirements

· Prepare Job Boxes for our Production teams & Issue/Return stock

· Stack shelves with new inventory stock

· Maintain Stores – ensure we meet H&S standards, stock is in order, in the correct location and the premises are clean and tidy

· Manage Hazardous Substances supplies, storage and register

· Recommend improvements and changes to Stores efficiency and operations

· Meet SoPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and establish internal Service Standards for your role

You will be fully supported in this role by your Supply Chain Manager and Enterprise team.
