The Opportunity

We're seeking a driven Operations Manager to lead our South Island operations, based in Christchurch or Dunedin. Reporting directly to the National Operations Manager, you'll oversee our Security, Servcore, and Building Services teams, ensuring projects and services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape team performance, drive operational excellence, and build strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire project and service teams with a focus on safety, quality, and results.
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, and workflow coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate job costing, quoting, and financial controls.
  • Manage procurement to ensure timely delivery and best value.
  • Submit labour forecasts, timesheets, and monthly performance reports.
  • Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance to meet contractual obligations.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role.
  • Industry background in Security, Communications, or Electrical is highly advantageous.
  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage labour and project costs.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and decision-making skills.
