About the role

The Lakes Clinic, EPSOM ( EPSOM MEDICAL CARE) , Auckland is looking for an experienced Medical Administrator to join their friendly and dedicated team in Epsom, Auckland. This full-time role (38.5 hrs/ week) will see you playing a crucial part in the smooth running of the general practice, providing administrative support to the clinical team.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming patients to the clinic in a friendly and professional manner
  • Scheduling and managing patient appointments
  • Handling patient enquiries and booking services
  • Maintaining patient records and updating medical information
  • Assisting with medical billing , including ACC Billing and insurance claims processing
  • Ordering and maintaining medical supplies and inventory
  • Supporting the clinical team with various administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Medical Administrator or similar role in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records
  • Proficient in using medical software and IT systems
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and data protection
