About the role

Are you a qualified practice nurse looking for an exciting new opportunity to join our team? We are seeking a full-time practice nurse (38.5 hr per week) to be based at our clinic in Epsom, Auckland. As a practice nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to our patients in the local community.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing nursing care to patients, including wound care, immunisations, health assessments and chronic disease management
  2. Assisting doctors with examinations, procedures and treatments
  3. Managing the clinical operations of the practice, including stock control, infection control and maintaining patient records
  4. Educating patients on health and wellness topics to promote preventive care
  5. Collaborating with the wider healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

What we're looking for

  1. Registered Nurse qualification and current annual practising certificate
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience as a general practice nurse or in a similar primary care setting
  3. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work autonomously
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families and the healthcare team
  5. Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
  6. Experience in chronic disease management, immunisations and health promotion
