**The Role**:
Join the team on our inpatient Orthopaedic ward at Mercy Hospital. We're offering a **part-time role 15 hours per week, working 5 hr shifts 3 days per week, across Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturday mornings.** This is a front-facing role where you'll greet all visitors to the ward, and provide administrative support to the Charge Nurse Manager and the wider team to ensure our patients, visitors and specialists receive a superior level of customer service. Tasks include general reception duties, assisting with patient bookings for other health services, collating and updating patient charts, assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges, and ensuring the smooth running of the ward from an administration perspective.

**The person**:
We're seeking a friendly, energetic, reliable person with **previous experience in a frontline customer service/reception role** (preferably in a healthcare or professional services environment). You will have excellent verbal/written communication and computer skills, a friendly and confident telephone manner, great attention to detail, and superb organisational and time management skills.
