Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are looking for an Administrative Coordinator to join our community nursing team. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth delivery of nursing services. You'll be the first point of contact for clients and referrers, manage referrals and invoicing, and keep everything running efficiently behind the scenes.
This is a part-time role, shared with another team member, and includes flexible working days across the week/weekends on a rotating roster—perfect for balancing work with your lifestyle.
Ngā mahi | What you'll be doing
- Providing timely and accurate administrative support to the nursing team.
- Responding to phone calls and enquiries with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.
- Processing referrals promptly and ensuring compliance with policies and contractual standards.
- Managing invoicing for nursing services in line with ACC requirements.
- Coordinating allocations for nursing staff and following up on outstanding tasks.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams and external providers.
- Contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
What are we looking for?
- Experience delivering health services in a community setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with computerised business and client management systems.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
- Advantageous but we will train: Knowledge of ACC purchasing framework and health funding in NZ.
