We're looking for a Commercial Insights Analyst to help shape smarter, data-led decisions across our Markets segment squads. You'll connect analytics with strategy, translating complex data into stories that drive commercial outcomes.
Please note that this is a 6 month fixed term opportunity.
Tāu e mahi ai | What you'll be doing:
- Analyse and interpret large datasets to uncover customer, market, and financial insights.
- Create clear, visual, and actionable reports that influence decision-making.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand needs and deliver meaningful analysis.
- Conduct financial modelling (NPV, payback, margin) to assess opportunities.
- Continuously improve data processes, tools, and reporting efficiency.
Tā mātou e kimi nei | We are looking for:
- Experience in analytical or commercial insight roles - or a strong interest.
- Skilled in SQL, Power BI, Excel, and ideally Databricks or Oracle BI.
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to turn analysis into action.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with data.
- Curious, detail-focused, and proactive in improving how things are done.
This role is expected to commence in January; however, there may be some flexibility to accommodate an earlier start should you be available immediately.
