About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of commercial properties across the Bay of Plenty, Hamilton, and parts of the South Island. This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, and your ability to build strong relationships and think on your feet will be key.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactive day-to-day management of commercial property operations
  • Building strong tenant relationships, including lease negotiations, renewals, interpretation and dispute resolution
  • Collaborating with Facilities Managers to ensure assets are well maintained
  • Preparing budgets and financial reports in partnership with our finance team
  • Working closely with Asset Managers to align property performance with strategic goals
  • Regular reporting on property activity and performance

Who We're Looking For

We're open to a range of experience levels. You might be:

  • A seasoned property professional ready for a fresh challenge
  • Newly graduated with a property degree, ready to start your career in commercial property
  • Someone with a background in residential property or facilities management looking to step into property
  • A motivated individual with the right skillset and attitude to grow into the role

Key skills and attributes:

  • Strong budgeting and financial reporting skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Great attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • A proactive problem solver who thrives under pressure
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. Bachelor of Property) is preferred but not essential
