Are you thinking of a change in the New Year?

We are on the lookout for a part or full time experienced Property Legal Secretary or Legal Assistant to join our growing team at Urban Property Law and to provide support to one of our authors.

We envisage this role being hybrid with a mixture of working remotely and in our office located in a great spot at Mount Maunganui.   Given this you will need to live in Tauranga.

About the role:

  • creation and preparation of edealing documents,
  • drafting property related paperwork using our templates,
  • conducting searches via LINZ and Companies Office,
  • providing administrative support including management of appointments for author,
  • maintaining accurate and up to date client files and records,
  • assisting with the co-ordination of settlements.

What we're looking for:

  • a minimum of 2 years' experience as a Property Legal Secretary or Property Legal Assistant,
  • strong knowledge of property law and conveyancing processes,
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills,
  • highly organised with the ability to multitask and work to deadlines,
  • a keen eye for detail and a commitment to providing high-quality work,
  • a team player with a good sense of humour and positive, proactive attitude.
