As the Clinical Coordinator and Registered Nurse, you will be utilising your effective leadership and management skills to ensure the delivery of excellent care to our residents which truly reflects the values of St John of God Hauora Trust. You will be working closely with and supporting our Residential Services Manager to effectively support and coordinate Clinical Services at Health and Ability Services which includes our 60 bed residential hospital level care facility in Halswell and our two Community Homes in Addington and Rolleston.

**About us**

St John of God Halswell is a provider of residential care for adults living with a neurological and/or physical disability. We operate a 60-bed service in Halswell as well as several supported living homes in the community. As a not-for-profit organisation our care is proudly based on the values of Hospitality, Compassion, Respect, Justice and Excellence. In addition we provide a Multi-disciplinary rehabilitation team supporting residential and transitional rehabilitation for our permanent and slow stream rehabilitation residents.

This is a permanent part-time role of 24 to 32 hours per week for a talented Registered Nurse with a preferred understanding of the disability sector and quality management. This Senior Clinical Management role will enable you to build on your strengths and leadership skills. Your support will be required one day on the weekend and an additional 2-3 days per week which will compliment the services of the other Clinical Coordinator in the management team.

**Your responsibilities and experience will include**:

- Assisting the Residential Services Manager in all aspects of clinical delivery.
- Providing Supervision and Clinical Support to the Nurse Unit Managers, Community Homes Manager and all caregivers.
- Providing support for the resident admissions and discharge process together with maintaining the overall occupancy for the facilities.
- Experience working within a residential facility and with hospital care clients.
- Being familiar with all audit processes such as: Internal Clinical Audits, Corrective and Preventative Action Processes and Infection Control Audits.

**You will need**:

- A current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
- Management and leadership experience.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with strong problem solving and decision-makingabilities.
