About the role
As the Business Development Manager at Airtight Solutions Ltd, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and expansion into new markets. This full-time position, based in Christchurch, Central Canterbury, will see you spearheading the company's new business development efforts, leveraging your expertise in sales and strategic partnerships to identify and secure high-value opportunities.
What you'll be doing
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and industry partners
- Preparing and presenting compelling sales proposals and presentations
- Continuously monitoring and analysing sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth
- Providing regular updates and reports to the management team on sales activities and pipeline progression
What we're looking for
- Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the dust control industry
- Exceptional communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve ambitious sales targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions
- Mechanical / Engineering background
