About the role

AHS SECURITY HARDWARE is seeking an experienced Accounts / Office Admin to join our team in Mount Eden, Auckland. This is a full-time position that will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day financial and administrative operations of our growing business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
  2. Assist with general accounting tasks such as bank reconciliations, tax preparations, and financial reporting
  3. Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and maintaining electronic and physical filing systems
  4. Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure efficient and effective business operations
  5. Support the broader office team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts or office administration role is preferred
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to work with financial data and accounts
  3. Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work
Proficient in using accounting software, Microsoft Office suite, and other relevant business applications (MYOB but training will be given)
  1. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
  2. A customer-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team environment
