VetSouth is a New Zealand-owned veterinary business, servicing communities through nine clinics across Southland and South Otago. We also are connected by an extended network of 33 clinics across NZ and Australia through our sister company. 

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Project professional to join our team to cover for maternity leave. Contributing at a senior leadership level, this role is a key function in our management team structure. Our ideal candidate will be based in Invercargill, though as we make good use of technology in our business, we will consider applications from the wider region.

The Role:

  • Collaborate with the wider organisation to streamline systems and standardise processes where practicable.
  • Hold overall responsibility for managing business and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of Operations team activities, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage key improvement projects.
  • Oversee capital expenditure, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Represent Operations within the VetSouth Leadership Group, contributing to strategic decision-making and organisational leadership.
