**New Zealand - New Zealand**: Our client is looking for an Assistant Feed Mill Manager to join the team.

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised when required
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Must have a valid drivers license (Minimum Class 2)
- Excellent health and safety awareness and attitude
- Be a team player and contributor
- Manual labor experience in industrial or process plant

- Willing to learn
- Hands on ability
- Mechanical aptitude

**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO**:

- Ensuring the feed mill facility runs accurately and efficiently, including keeping the mill clean and clear of debris.
- Carrying out the operational activities including:

- Milling of grain
- Mixing of feed ingredients
- Batching and out loading of finished product
- Meeting production targets and maintain quality control
- Preventative maintenance and safety programs of plant and delivery equipment
- Follow and adhere to all Environmental, Food Safety, Occupational Health and GMP practices as required
- Responsible for following company bio-security policies and procedures as advised from time to time
- Ordering of ingredients as needed
- Stock control and ingredient reconciliation

**HEALTH & SAFETY**
- Following the employer’s instructions regarding hazards in the place of work
- Reporting hazards if identified
- Using and caring for protective clothing and equipment and emergency equipment provided by the company
- Co0operating with the monitoring of workplace hazards and employees’ health
- Reporting work-related injuries or ill health
- Ensuring the safety of yourself and other employees
- Notifying the employer of any workplace accidents, near miss or incidents
