As an Intermediate Structural Engineer, you'll take a hands-on role in the design and delivery of residential projects — from concept through to construction. You'll be supported by experienced senior engineers and given the opportunity to develop autonomy, technical depth, and client exposure across a range of exciting, design-led projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structural design solutions for high-end residential and architectural projects across Auckland and wider NZ.
  • Liaise directly with architects, builders, and clients to ensure design intent and practicality are balanced.
  • Produce detailed structural drawings and documentation in collaboration with technicians.
  • Conduct site inspections and provide technical input during construction phases.
  • Contribute to internal design reviews and project meetings.

About You

  • Bachelor of Engineering from a New Zealand university
  • Minimum 3+ years' structural design experience within a NZ consulting environment.
  • Strong experience with residential timber structures
  • Working knowledge of NZ building codes and standards
  • A collaborative and proactive communicator who enjoys working closely with design teams and clients.
