NorthAble Matapuna Hauora is seeking an inspiring General Manager – Youth Services to champion the delivery of the Ministry of Education Attendance Service and youth-focused initiatives across Te Tai Tokerau and Auckland.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you'll guide a dedicated team working alongside schools, whānau, and communities to re-engage students in learning and wellbeing.

Your leadership will bring to life the principles of Te Ako Manaaki — a values-based, person-centred, and relational practice grounded in whanaungatanga, manaakitanga, kotahitanga, and tika.

What You'll Do

  • Provide inspirational leadership and direction to the Youth Services team.

  • Drive service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage performance, budgets, and partnerships with integrity and transparency.

  • Build strong relationships with the Ministry of Education, schools, iwi, and community partners.

  • Contribute strategically to NorthAble's broader vision for social investment and equitable outcomes across Te Tai Tokerau.
