About the Role
As General Manager, you will lead the entire dealership operation, from vehicle sales and finance to service and customer experience. Your leadership will set the tone for a culture of excellence, teamwork, and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive performance across all departments: Sales, Service, and Parts.
- Monitor, control, and report on profitability, costs, and budgets.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence are at the heart of every interaction.
- Lead, develop, and inspire your team to deliver top results.
- Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and process improvement.
What We're Looking For
You are a dynamic, hands-on leader with a track record of success in automotive management. You're strategic yet practical, commercially savvy, and above all, passionate about people and performance.
You'll bring:
- 2+ years in a General Manager or Dealer Principal role
- 3+ years of retail automotive management experience in New Zealand
- Strong understanding of Sales, Service, and Parts operations
- Proven ability to motivate, coach, and build high-performing teams
- A driven, entrepreneurial mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement
