Our client is a leading Australian sporting goods company who is Australasia's premier supplier of sport, fitness and active play equipment to schools, clubs and community.

They are now seeking a new shining star to join their NZ Office in the key role of Customer Service & Sales Administrator. You will join a small, passionate, focused and fun team based in the lovely go-ahead suburb of Hobsonville.

This role is varied with a diverse range of tasks being performed; Frontline Sales, Sales Administration, General & Freight Administration.

The successful applicant will report to NZ Senior Management but also have significant involvement with the Australian Customer Support team and Head Office. The core working days/hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

The person we are seeking will have all or most of the following skills, experience, aptitude or attributes:

  • 3 years Customer Service experience in a customer service, sales or call centre type work environment;
  • Intermediate skills and experience with Microsoft programmes including Word, Excel and Outlook email;
  • A 'hands on', highly energetic, well-organised person with a passion for customer service excellence;
  • A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail;
  • Experienced, proficient, accurate and fast data entry and administrative skills, especially involving numbers and lots of detailed information;
  • A good head for numbers and some aptitude for financial analysis;
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise as well as multi-task;
  • A genuine team player with high initiative and ability to think laterally;
  • A friendly, warm and engaging personality who can smile with their eyes and voice;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • Well presented;
  • Highly developed telephone and email communication skills;
  • Proactive and prepared to work in the warehouse if/when needed;
  • Confident and resourceful in decision-making;
  • Good problem solver with the ability to identify and implement collaborative process improvements;
  • Able to remain calm in the face of heavy workloads and/or stressful scenarios by communicating and collaborating with other team members to resolve issues and or meet deadlines.
