About the role

Reporting into a Corporate Director, you will play a vital role in supporting our Corporate Banking team. In this full-time position, you will work closely with senior relationship managers and colleagues at the back office to provide high-quality service and tailored financial solutions to our valued corporate clients. This role is based in Auckland CBD.

Key responsibilities

·       Enhance partnerships with our clients and prospects and drive business performance through effective management of a portfolio of existing assets via origination of new business

·       Utilise networks to market the Bank's products and onboard clients with an international / global footprint

·       Engage with Product and Credit specialists and apply balance sheet, strategic product and financial knowledge to develop financial solutions tailored to specific customer needs

·       Assist to lead the credit process required to establish and maintain the appropriate facility limits required by clients efficiently and effectively, and in line with the Bank's risk appetite.

·       Assist and/or in need conduct end-to-end processes encompassing customer onboarding, KYC/AML, ongoing OCDD, loan documentation, drawdowns, as well as post-drawdown management tasks ensuring compliance with relevant policy requirements.

·       Maintain a good understanding of domestic and global financial market conditions and how these impact upon the portfolio by industry and by client.

About you

· years' experience in a front office relationship manager role within the banking sector.

·       Tertiary qualifications, preferably in a finance / business studies discipline.

·       Proven ability to handle complex comprehensive relationships and structure of complex deals.

·       Ability to apply learning and experience to identify and initiate 'best practice' strategies and process improvements for the team.

·       Good understanding of the legal and regulatory environment of the function and business.

·       Sound credit/product/market knowledge in corporate finance.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify customer needs, deliver customer value, and build and maintain strong client relationships.

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and report to leaders at the executive level.

·       Bi-lingual language skills i.e. fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin is highly desired.
