**Job Description**:
Due to growth and ongoing delivery success with our clients, Turner & Townsend's Project Management team in Auckland are expanding and looking for and Associate Director/ Project Director who has led and worked on large scale construction projects across a range of sectors, ideally including health, high-tech (Data Centres), commercial and/or education.

As an Associate Director or Project Director with Turner & Townsend you must be capable to lead projects, manage a team, have a commercial focus and balance working across major projects. The successful applicant will be working closely with and supported by the New Zealand’s Director for Project Management.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead and manage large scale commercial/ high-tech/ health projects as the key client interface
- Developing working relationships, problem solving and driving projects to successful completion
- Managing the design process to achieve the client's requirements and manage expectations
- Reviewing project plans and specifications, scheduling, costs saving measures, discrepancies, potential construction problems, etc.
- Managing project safety and environmental requirements
- Managing project timelines, risks and reporting
- Managing project budgets and advising on options to keep budget on track

**Qualifications**:

- A recognised Degree qualification relating to a technical field: Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management
- 10 - 15+ years industry experience working on major health, high-tech, commercial and/or educations projects
- Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft skills are essential and Primavera skills will be of benefit
- Technical ability to lead and manage complex projects and programmes as the key client interface
- Excellent command of written and spoken English with excellent report and bid writing skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and develop a team.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients
