**People & Capability Specialist**
Ceres NZ is a market leader in demolition, asbestos remediation, and disaster recovery. We are a rapidly-growing international company and a subsidiary of Ceres Environmental Services, Inc., a 43-year-old company doing business predominantly in the United States of America.
**Job Duties**
Human Resources
- Ensure company policies are in place and are followed by employees (and employer)
- Ensure company training matrix is up to date and book training courses as required
- Induct new company employees
- Carry out staff appraisals in conjunction with management
- Complete health & safety paperwork for projects
- Job advertisements for required staff
- Arrange, and carry out interviews with potential new employees
- Keeping of employee records with help of Ceres NZ Payroll Specialist
- Ensure yearly staff medicals are booked and carried out
- Other responsibilities as required
Administrative
- Maintains accurate records as required.
Teamwork
- Commit to continuously developing leadership skills and attributes
- Participates in and contributes to an enthusiastic and competent work team.
- Leading the team ensuring they have the resources and capabilities they require to complete the tasks
- Works in a way so to implement agreed actions as discussed and within the time frame agreed.
Professional skills
- Ability to manage own time efficiently and productively
- Able to complete tasks as agreed
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors
- Perform other related duties as required.
Health and safety
- Works closely with management team to ensure timely supply of adequate resources both in the short and long term - to efficiently manage facilities and projects withn the bounds of the health and safety, on time and within budget.
- Comply with your health and safety obligations as an employee of Ceres NZ and ensure Ceres NZ complies with its health and safety obligations to the extent that it is within your power and control.

**Requirements**:
- Excellent computer skills esp. Word and Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Knowledge about NZ Law, Worker’s Rights and Workplace Safety

- Problem-solving skills

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
