The opportunity:
As our Regional People and Capability Manager, you'll actively be involved in the day to day delivery of our HR services. You'll also play a key part in shaping and driving our broader people strategy, making sure its grounded in real world delivery and supports both our national and regional goals.
You'll be the heartbeat of our HR team, keeping things moving, supporting our people and helping us deliver on what we've promised to our customers. This role is about balance: providing practical, on the ground HR support while contributing to bigger picture planning and improvement.
In addition to the above you will:
- Oversee and refine employment agreements and develop regional HR plans.- Provide trusted, expert guidance across employment relations, payroll, industrial relations, performance and change management, and general HR matters.- Lead and contribute to key projects and continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our people processes.- Motivate and support your team, consistently modelling our values of respect, energy, effort, attitude, and leadership.- Prioritise and champion health & safety in everything you do, ensuring your team works safely and supports others to do the same.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desired- Proven experience in an HR management related role- Solid understanding of NZ employment laws and legislation- Proven experience managing employment relation and industrial relation matters- Ability to lead and influence across the organisation.- Safety-focused, hardworking, reliable, practical problem-solver, team player, good listener, and eager to learn and grow. A ‘good sort’ who treats others with respect and takes pride in their work.- You will be a supportive and collaborative leader with a passion for developing and growing talent.
