We are currently on the lookout for a National Account Manager to work under our Gilmours wholesale food and beverage brand, and to be based in Auckland.

To be suitable for the role, you will be collaborative, commercially astute, and an experienced sales professional, looking to take the next step.

**Who are we?**

Foodstuffs North Island operates Gilmours brand for National business. We are a national wholesale supplier to the NZ foodservice industry. As part of Foodstuffs, we supply food, beverage, and general merchandise to national restaurants and bar groups, hotel chains, and institutions. Our purpose is to ensure New Zealanders get more out of life through customer-inspired stores, high-performing teams, and world-class products and services.

**The role**

Managing a portfolio of national customers, the National Account Manager is responsible for increasing turnover and margins, driving growth and development, setting sales strategy, generating further sales opportunities, and delivering an outstanding service to our national wholesale customers.

It’s a big job, always working at least 30 hours a week, but we have support to help you. You will also understand what it takes and what you need from us to be successful.

In return you will receive a highly competitive salary of between $80K-$120k plus short-term sales incentive, plus a company car as a tool of trade and mobile phone. We also offer long-term coaching and development pathway because we want you to come, grow and stay

**About you**
- You’ll be energetic and have a natural affinity for building strong relationships. These may exist already through your current network, but your naturally curious style will drive you to grow and develop more in the food service industry.
- You’ll be hard working, of course, with a great understanding of foodservice supply and demand, along with an analytical mindset for growing business and utilising all the tools in the box.
- At least three years of sales experience, given the national reach of this role, with at least some of this within the foodservice supply industry.
- You’ll be great at identifying new business opportunities and are not afraid to reach out to grow your brand and ours
- You can show that you understand the value of collaborating across all the areas of our business to enable you to bring about the best result for our customers.
- Your resilience will enable you to keep going under pressure, to get the best outcome for foodies and the customer.
- You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
