**About the Role**

As part of a future focused Accounts Payable Team, you’ll be the
** Payments Controller who is responsible for ensuring all vendors are paid on time**, accurately and inline with Foodstuffs North Island Vendor terms.

You’ll be the senior team member and as such will need to guide and provide support to the team, ensuring all payments and vendor reconciliations are completed accurately and within given timeframes.

Supporting the Payment Officer, you’ll ensure payment runs are performed accurately, communicate with the wider business to mitigate any negative impacts to cashflow and provide necessary reports as required.

You will have opportunities to be involved in various interesting Projects.

**About you**

With a strong knowledge of accounting systems and process (ideally including SAP),
**you’ll have worked in a team leadership role within Accounts Payable** and will be comfortable in and advanced level of Excel.

This is a
**big role with a lot of responsibility, managing a team** that processes high volumes of work daily. It requires a good planner, high attention to detail and a confident communicator, both written and verbal.
