We’re looking for a Property Portfolio Manager to join our Format, Network Development & Property team here in Aotearoa reporting to our National Portfolio Manager. Joining our team you’ll take accountability for managing a portfolio of properties and property-related investments to achieve Woolworths NZ’s business objectives. You will deliver key business outcomes including delivery of the property network plan, and meeting business objectives for acquisition, renewals, tenure, occupancy costs, convenience and customer amenities in accordance with Woolworths NZ’s Customer 1st, Team 1st strategy and overarching Property framework.
**About the Role | Mō te Tūranga**
- Develop and execute property strategies in partnership with key business stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure that our Property network delivers exceptional results across the business
- Build, manage and enhance relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure property requirements are well understood, with a significant focus on ‘end-to-end’ solutions
- Accountable to submit considered and quality recommendations for major investments / disposals and negotiate with purchasers / vendors / contractors
- Negotiate new leasehold site acquisitions, and lease transactions relating to the existing portfolio
- Act as a leader within the wider property team through coaching, engaging and mentoring, learning development, performance management and capability building
**About You | Mōu**
To succeed in this role you will need to have in excess of 5 years experience managing, leading and executing the strategy for an extensive portfolio of properties, with a strong focus on leasing or asset management, property investment and a proven track record of delivering key projects. With strong business acumen and a tertiary qualification in property or related fields, you’ll bring excellent influencing and negotiation skills with the ability to engage, build and maintain key stakeholder relationships. A leader who can negotiate, influence and contribute to the delivery of our Customer 1st strategy and transformation will be key to ensuring we’re committed to our purpose of making Kiwis’ lives a little better every day.
