At Ebbett Toyota, we're seeking a dynamic and strong individual to join our growing Service Team as a Workshop Controller / Diagnostic Technician here in Te Awamutu.

This is a key hands on position leading our Workshop team and ensuring we achieve high productivity and efficiency while retaining a high standard. You will also assist the team of Technicians in diagnostics when required.

To be successful in this role you must be able to plan the workload ahead and foresee upcoming challenges caused by capacity and logistic restrictions to navigate your way through them daily to meet and exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you'll also be responsible for:

- Maintaining productivity and efficiency through the workshop
- Ensuring the quality and correct completion of workshop repairs
- Delegating work to Technicians & Groomers
- Assisting with training and development
- Carrying out WOF and ISO record keeping

Ideally you will have an Automotive trade background and experience within the Toyota Franchise. However, if you have relevant Technical experience and are looking for the next step in your career then we'd like to talk.

- The ability to juggle responsibilities and adapt to changes in a fast paced customer centric environment
- Meticulous admin and record keeping skills
- Confident computer literacy
- Strong communication skills
- A high attention to detail
- An approachable management style
