Ideal applicants will have experience in one or more of the following industries:

• Small Engines
• Motorcycles
• Outboard Motors
• Automotive
• Heavy Diesel
• Electrical
• Newly qualified apprentices busy with their qualifications
• Defence Force mechanical/electrical trades
• Mechanical competency through hobby, lifestyle or just plain love for small engines.

You will have the ability to diagnose, service, and repair a wide range of outdoor power equipment -including handheld tools and ride-on mowers. Experience with small engine diagnostics and repairs is a strong advantage.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in the small engines, automotive or similar industries
• A positive, can-do attitude and enthusiasm for technical work
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to think outside the square to find cost effective, timely repair solutions
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and commitment to great customer service
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities
• Reliable, honest, and self-driven
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Have the ability to assist the sales team when and where needed on the sales floor
• Have the confidence to liaise with customers and clearly explain services and work carried out, both over the phone and face to face
• NZ residency or valid work visa
• Current and clean driver's licence
