**About the role**
- Join our busy Te Awamutu workshop
- Work on a wide variety of world renown and highly respected brands
- Qualified diesel mechanic with agricultural machinery experience essential

Our Te Awamutu team are seeking a qualified diesel mechanic to join their busy workshop team as a Service Technician. This role is workshop based diagnosing and repairing tractors, diggers and a wide variety of our machinery brands that include New Holland, Kubota, Vaderstad and Horsch to name a few.

**What you will bring**
- Minimum Level 4 Diesel Mechanic qualification
- Recent repair experience on agricultural and construction machinery
- Excellent work ethic, a positive and enthusiastic personality
- Knowledge in diesel engine structure and fuel systems
- Knowledge with hydraulic systems and electronic systems
- Computer skills including the use of OEM diagnostic software
- Be friendly, inclusive and adapt well to different personalities

Our customers, NZ farmers and contractors, have no control over weather, breakdowns or time of day / night a breakdown happens. They need to know that Norwood will be there providing exceptional service with a positive attitude when things go wrong
