**Maintenance Technician - 1M**

Our Auckland team is looking for an experienced
**Maintenance Technician** to support our HVAC division at
**1M**.

**1M** is one of the country’s leading commercial and infrastructure air conditioning mechanical service companies which provides design, build, and install services under the HVAC division of the OCS Group. Our highly skilled team of expert designers, engineers, installers, and technicians have been providing project management, design, construction & installation, refurbishment, and ongoing preventative maintenance and on-call services for over 20 years.

The role will be responsible for performing scheduled planned and preventative maintenance checks, troubleshooting, and repair tasks on all existing mechanical equipment

**This a full-time position - 42.5 hours per week plus Overtime** based in
**Auckland.**

**Responsibilities include**:
**HVAC System Maintenance**:

- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation components.
- Clean, replace, or repair filters, belts, motors, and other system parts as needed.
- Identify and rectify issues or malfunctions to ensure optimal system performance.
- Attend to routine maintenance of plant and equipment.

**Troubleshooting and Diagnosis**:

- Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC systems, including identifying mechanical issues.
- Reporting any Electrical issues for further diagnosis.
- Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to assess system performance and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Repair and Replacement:

- Perform repairs, adjustments, or replacements of faulty components or systems.
- Ensure all repairs and replacements comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Attend to machinery breakdown as

**Preventive Maintenance**:

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend the lifespan of HVAC systems.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and inspections

**The following qualifications and experience will be key for this role**:

- 3- 5 years’ experience in repairs maintenance and installation techniques of HVAC systems
- Site Safe Passport
- EWP
- Height and Harness / Working at heights
- EST (desirable but not required[TDV2])
- Reading and understanding schematics
- Must possess relevant HVAC maintenance experience, with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and controls.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
