This public sector agency is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join their evolving and dynamic organisation. This is a great opportunity to hit the ground running, share your knowledge and experience, and become a valued member of the team, where continuous improvement is at the forefront of all they do.
**About the Role**:
Reporting directly to the Deputy Chief Executive, you will be responsible for providing executive level administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the office, helping the DCE make informed decisions and manage their workload more effectively.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Diary management including scheduling meetings, appointments and travel arrangements
- Acting as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Drafting and reviewing correspondence, reports and presentations
- Managing confidential and sensitive information
- Undertaking research and analysis as required
- Coordinating and preparing for meetings, including the distribution of agendas and minutes
- Providing administrative support to the wider team as required
**About you**:
You will be an ambitious, inquisitive, and innovative Executive Assistant with a strong track record of supporting senior executives. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will also have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders
- Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with tact and discretion
- Advisory experience, and experience of working in the public sector (advantageous but not essential)
